NKEC Movie Night

A reminder for all Middle School students to check your email! There will be a movie for the Middle School only on Thursday, April 18 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. There is a Google Form for you to fill out regarding the movie that will be played. It’s a $5 entrance fee that includes one pop and a popcorn. Bring your comfiest PJs for our movie night next

Drama Production

Come support NKEC Drama Clubs and tech crews on Monday the 22nd. Both middle school and high school will be presenting their productions: Backstabbers and Broomsticks and Miscommunication, along with the EMS production. If you want to catch this triple feature, it's a free will offering and begins at 6:30pm. 

Track and Field

A reminder to all track athletes to get their forms into Mrs. Baldwin as soon as possible.  Also, if you are ordering a t-shirt, orders must be in by April 26th.

NKEC Badminton:

Practice will be for everyone from 3:15-4:30 today.

Jr. Girls Softball

The sign up sheet for tryouts will be posted on the gym door at MS recess.  First tryout will be Tuesday, 23rd from 3:30-5.

Spring League Games Postponed Thursday

Our Spring League games scheduled for tomorrow will be postponed until next Thursday due to a function that will have too many participants away on Thursday.  This means that our layoff day will be Monday. April 29 right after school.

This Thursday, April 18th during Lunch in the Lobby. Come enjoy a good variety of cookies and cupcakes, while also supporting school spirit. Everything will be $2 and all proceeds from the Bake Sale will go toward this year's NKEC swag

MUSIC DEPARTMENT

Today, Grade 7’s will have a double rehearsal: Periods 5 & 6. Tomorrow, Grade 8’s will have a regular rehearsal at the end of the day. Please bring any and all Consent Forms to Ms. Helms.

IMPROV Team

This is a reminder that there will be an Improv practice after school today from 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm in the cafeteria! Please let Ms. Salmon or Mr. Fry know if you will not be there. Looking forward to seeing you all there! 

Composition Club

There will be a composition club meeting at high school lunch today in Mrs. Salmon’s room! Please don’t forget to bring your solfege melodies! It’s going to be a blast!

Track and Field - Throwing

This is a reminder of throwing practice today right after school. Practice will go to 4:15 PM. Anyone interested in participating in javelin, discus, and shot put, this is your opportunity to give these events a shot.

Soup drive 

Hey titans! We would like to invite people to centre square, Kentville  this friday! April 19th for a free soup drive! If you are in need of some soup please come out! This will be provided to you by the NKEC Interac rotary club!
